Bad Ash Films — Central Florida corporate video, brand documentary, and commercial production

CORPORATE DOCUMENTARY, BRAND FILMS, AND COMMERCIALS.

Whatever the format, the job is the same: make people want to keep watching.

I shoot brand documentaries, customer stories, commercials, and conference films for companies across Florida and well beyond it. That’s meant working with brands like Trackman, KFC, and Jostens Global — and with plenty of smaller companies who had a story worth telling properly.

Some days that’s me on my own in a working office with a camera and a couple of lights, getting a clean interview without turning anyone’s afternoon upside down. Other days it’s a full crew and a multi-camera build. I’m comfortable either way — I own my package, I show up early, and I stay out of the way.

I started in 2016, making sketches with friends. The comedy came first and the production work grew out of it — real estate at the beginning, then interviews, then brand stories, then commercials. The budgets got bigger and the crews got bigger. The actual job never changed much: hold someone’s attention, and don’t waste their time.

The work I like best is the kind where somebody forgets the camera is running. An executive stops reciting the talking points. A technician starts explaining the thing they actually care about. You can’t schedule that moment, but you can build a room that makes it likely — the right lens, light that doesn’t feel like a set, and enough calm that nobody feels like they’re performing. Most of what I’m doing on any given day is quietly setting that up.

I COULDN’T IMAGINE DOING ANYTHING ELSE.
